SETX Church BBQ Sunday: Promo
A quick straight forward invitational video to SETX Church’s BBQ Sunday event. Use of a bold slab serif font and a couple flaming, circular overlay videos from pixabay.com really gives it a punchy feel. The background flaming barbeque video (which I blurred) is from user “Life-Of-Vids” on Pixabay as well. I cut the text to music for more punch and added matching denim texture to my SETX Church logo design.
Brother Nathan's Breakfast Biscuits: Promo
A lighthearted sixteen second promo video for social media, it introduces a new program and time for a local Pastor’s morning devotional. Work done includes logo creation, graphic design, and toning and shading of stock photos. I selected appropriate typography and used sound effects and music from pixabay.com. This concept was mine from start to finish.
Sheep/Goats: SETX Sermon Promo
An invite teaser for SETX Church’s social media pages. The promo gives the message series on Jesus’ parables a fresh feel and invites the public to come hear the message on sheep and goats. I added sound effects and edited stock shots and music from Pixabay with my graphics.
Video Editing
SETX Kids: Gator Event Promo
Directed, edited and produced for SETX Church. Conceptualized in coordination with Nathan H Cothen. Handheld work on GoPro HERO8 and iPhone 13. Original logo and motion graphics. Some stills provided by Gator Country Adventure Park. Stock music by Pixabay.com with additional edited version of Chariots of Fire theme by Vangelis (Polydor Records)
What a fun shoot on Village Creek in Southeast Texas.
"Changed for Life" TV Program Showreel
This reel highlights parts of many messages from a weekly TV broadcast of Sunday sermons. I created all sermon graphics, intro motion graphics, artwork in the video, and all other graphics, adding in from time to time a mix stock footage. Programs used were Adobe Creative Suite.
The sermon messages had to be edited it to fit the time slot, first for an hour for several years, then later shortened to 30 minutes. I would add events to fill time as needed, and cut long segments to keep within the timeframe while keeping the continuity and message on point. I also created the graphics to enhance points made during the sermon message, as can be seen during the sermon sections, on the TV to the right of the pastor.
